Increasing happiness takes time. But we are busier than ever. When should you practice these life-changing skills? How to automate the process of creating happiness.

​If you’re like most people, you’re busy. You probably have almost no time to devote to developing your happiness skills. However, the reality is that learning and practicing new skills takes time. When should you practice these supposedly life-changing skills?

Most happiness programs require you to spend a disproportionate amount of time using them. This is a big problem because most people simply don’t have the time, energy, or motivation to practice these skills regularly.

But don’t worry, by combining the process of developing happiness skills with other daily activities, you can automate your happiness. For example, a product I recently worked on – the Happy Puppy Magnet Set – consists of a series of magnets that help children passively increase their emotional intelligence.

Kids learn a little every time they see the magnets on the fridge, but these kids don’t even need to take a minute. You learn effortlessly, without doing anything.

These types of products – products that help you practice happiness skills passively or during another activity – help you automate your happiness. They increase your happiness, not only in your free time, but also in your free time. The more you use passive learning techniques, the easier it becomes to automate your happiness.

What strategies can you use today?

To get started, you can post sticky notes around your home. positive affirmations about them, or basically phrases that remind you who you are, what you want and what thoughts you want to have.
