The Number 1 Reason Why You Are Still Not Happy
The main reason you’re still not happy
If you don’t have good reasons to continue a happiness practice, you will probably abandon it before it brings you much good. This is why it’s so important to find happiness practices that you enjoy.

Think about it this way. Let’s say you want to become a musician but you really hate playing the violin. I keep telling you that the only way to become a musician is to play the violin. So listen to me because I’m the expert. You learn to play, but you’re bored and dissatisfied. You’re not motivated to play the violin because you hate the violin, and you end up giving up because, well… ugh.
It makes perfect sense, right? Why would you continue to do something you hate? The same goes for happiness…
The sports industry, a little ahead of the happiness industry, knows the answer to this question. They will often tell you to do exercises that you enjoy. Sure, strength training may be better for your health than Zumba, but ultimately, doing everything is better than doing nothing. So do Zumba if you like it.
If you want to hang on to something long enough for it to change your life, the best thing you can do is do something you love. This is another problem with most happiness products. They rarely tell you that you have a choice in how you want to increase your happiness. Inevitably, you will love developing certain happiness-related skills while hating developing others. I know yes.
