Justine Saavedra is a program specialist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico, where she worked to implement an early psychosis screening process for all students seeking mental health services on campus. She has a diverse research background that includes basic neuroscience, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, substance use disorders, and clinical trials. She enjoys cooking (especially New Mexican cuisine), doing Pilates, and exploring the mountains.
