Enjoying is when you intentionally try to prolong or increase your positive emotions. Regular pleasure is proven to contribute to better well-being, so let’s practice pleasure.
Activity: Enjoy
In this activity, you will spend 10 minutes writing about a happy, joyful, or pleasant event that previously occurred. THIS WEEK.
For example, you could write about: “A good conversation you had with a friend.”
1. Write about it People, smells, sounds, physical sensations and sights that you experienced at the time of the event.
2. Focus on the positive emotions that you felt during and immediately after this event.
3. Focus on how this event happened and how you created this situation for yourself.
4. Write about everything that makes you feel good about this event.
