What is a reassessment?
The goal is to address you in the way that suits you feel better or the situation.
Why is it important to develop reassessment skills?
How to practice positive reappraisal
To practice reevaluation, start by writing a list of things you learned from a previous failure. For example, if you missed an important deadline, you may have learned that you need to prioritize better, delegate more, or tone down your perfectionism.
To help you reevaluate, ask yourself the following questions:
- Have there been or will there be any positive consequences from this situation?
- Are you grateful for any part of this situation?
- How do you feel better than when you started?
- What have you learned?
- How did you grow and evolve in this situation?
